University of Massachusetts, Amherst and Baystate Medical Center

The research teams at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and Baystate Medical Center created an animation that describes findings from their research and describes the impacts of environmental chemicals on breast cancer susceptibility. This animation is associated with a Scientia article that featured their work.

Cross-Site Collaboration

In collaboration with Columbia University, Michigan State University, George Mason University, University of Florida, University of South Carolina at Columbia, and University of Wisconsin, Dr. Kami Silk and team developed three educational videos to teach adolescents about the precautionary principle, windows of susceptibility, and endocrine disruptors. These videos featured discussions with BCERP experts about the topics of interest and helped improve adolescents’ knowledge of environmental exposures that could impact their breast cancer risk.
