Materials for Outreach Organizations

Outreach organizations and advocates are essential picture2in the dissemination of important information about breast cancer, including risk factors, such as environmental exposures. Acting in the community can help encourage health lifestyles and community health, substantiate support for scientific research, and promote awareness of certain environmental exposures as risk factors and steps to take to reduce risk. In addition, outreach organizations can also play a large part in encouraging health professionals, parents and caregivers to learn more about their role in reducing risk of breast cancer in young girls.

We also encourage outreach organizations to download materials that can be used to provide information related to BCERP studies and promote awareness of the environmental risks associated with breast cancer.
