The Breast Cancer and the Environment Research Program (BCERP) is a NIH-funded project (#5R21ES027418-02) researching environmental and lifestyle risk factors for breast cancer.
Currently, the BCERP is offering up to three (3) AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM for participating in up to three (3) one-hour training modules, cost-free. Participants will learn about environmental exposures during windows of susceptibility that increase girls’ risk of breast cancer later in life, as well as communication and practice strategies for implementing this information into well-child checks.
Some feedback from providers who have participated:
“Very informative on a topic not widely taught. I will absolutely integrate into well child visits.” (Pediatrician)
“Useful information that I have not previously addressed with my patients. Thank you! I will share this with my colleagues.” (Nurse Practitioner)
“This was such a great training module – concise, with lots of info covered in a time-efficient fashion. I think it could be a very high yield towards educating providers.” (Pediatrician)
“Excellent, well organized, easy to follow/complete, useful to everyday practice. Thank you!” (Pediatrician)
